Sonia redux - show me your crop

This is the original and the alternative, and an alternate crop which I rather like now I look at it again.

Peter:
I really like the picture you chose originally, the pen in the mouth says it all I think, and no, I wouldn't necessarily do this (or maybe I would) but thought I'd throw it in for discussion;

I knew there was a reason I cropped so close - the tissue box. In hindsight I think I should have gone with the other crop, the light is better and she's looking at the screen, I just liked her pose in the first shot.

Bit of a rock and a hard place, isn't it? The tissue box is a real killer. Images 2 and 3 are originals, right and the possibles are either image 1 or image 4. Image 4 you can see what she is looking at and there is a hint of a smile. But ... there is the shadow of her head ... mainly the head. How to get rid of that. I prefer this to the one with the manilla envelopes and no space on the LHS. So yes - image 4 minus two heads!

Is there anything to be lost by going in close? The printer sets the scene, the last remnant of tissue could be part of a document being considered...... (or a piece of tail cropped out of Julie's dog shot>)

Golly, this is not bad, Peter: the whiskey done its job then?

You really have a vendentta out on tops of heads don't you: you would easy make the Apache team!

I think I wrote about it recently, oh yes, there it is;
Portraiture

Who can say why we do the things we do.

And the whisky? Alas, it's forbidden. Stops the clotting apparently, and fourteen hours on, I need the clots!

Hah! What a hoot of a story! So this scalping tendency is genetic ... that is a terrific picture of you and your siblings. People got dolled up in those days, hey!

LOL. I'm still trying to come to terms with this chopping tops of heads off. It would never have occurred to me to leave part of the tissue in, my immediate reaction was that the tissue box had to go, but it works. However the solution would be to take a better photo in the first place.
