ooh clarinnetists ...

I can see your comment about uniforms now! Nice shot. Was this Navy or Police?

One of the things I love about this project, is the totally different subjects we choose. We end up with such variety. I wonder if there is a PhD thesis in there to analyse our choice of subjects and align it with our personality! Ugh ...

Looking at last Saturday's collection I seem to have a lot of good looking men in uniform. What does that say about me - dirty old woman?

I have an amazing variety of people from Saturday, not at all what I expected to get. I actually didn't get many of the demographic I expected.

I think they may be RAAF - dark blue uniform and the badge has a bird in flight.

Julie said...

Now THAT would be a good badge to wear with pride!!

I went deliberately looking for old codgers ... working class ... hard done by old codgers ... and found 'em too ...

But I also got a few others ... but you will have much more variety than I ...

Could you do me a favour and take a look at my Test Blog and tell me what you think. Bear in mind its done on a 19 inch or so screen so may not fit as well on a smaller one. I think I'm reasonably happy with it.

Will do ... what is the addy ...

It should be with the blogs listed in my profile.

I have an 18" screen here at work and a 22" at home.

Your Test Blog here at work forces me to use the horizontal scroll for about 3" - but many blogs do that. However, you could consider making the Main segment wider. At the moment, the Main + the RHS segment occupy the full screen and the horizontal scroll only displays the maroon background.

So the banner header is wider than the rest of the blog. Either reduce the width of the banner, or increase the size of the main area. I dont think you need to increase the size of the RHS segment.

Its fine widthwise on both my home and work screens, although looks darker at work, so I don't think I'll play with the width. How does the colour scheme look?

I like the colour scheme: basically you now have maroon as your background so that anyone with a bigger monitor will see much more maroon.

So long as the main area is still light enough to allow the printing to stand out and the photograph to show its own colours rather than be crowded in.

I think it is fine, scheme-wise.

Thanks, I need to get a better photo, the dimensions are out a bit, but that one will do for a start. First year anniversary coming up - time for a new look.

I don't want to be too tough, but I reckon this would have been better if you'd used your new found PS skills to put the sign in heavy shade!

My skills aren't at that level yet, I haven't found that part of the program.
