When I asked Mick if I could wander along and take photos of him, there was a zephyr of a smile, a quiet "Of course" and he continued on his path. When I saw him later at the ceremony, there was still the fixed centre. He is so much younger than I. How did his life take this shape?

Beautiful. Definitely one for b&w. Its brings up the character in the face so much more.
I like the wistful expression in the 3rd one as well.
Yes this one is lovely in B&W. I wasn't sure about the one the other day. It's only his grey beard that's aging, his face isn't. Grey makes anyone look older but why give up such a nice beard.
I can't add to any of the above, it's a ripper!
