Julie (171) - Diane at Riverside, Parramatta

This woman is not in the least a stranger: I first met her just before Christmas 1971. She visited from Melbourne during the weekend and I made this shot after the Rivercat ride to Parramatta as we picnicked on the banks of Riverside. We forgot something to drink from, so emptied our water bottles and refilled them with Rose.

Perfect ...

PS note how I overcame the problem of the shadow from the lip of the cap.

I did not notice the Uncle Martin antennae sticking out of her head!

Love the portrait, asking people to move or lift their hats is something I need to get the courage to try. Can you clone out Uncle Martin?

I love this. She looks like great fun. Antenna is very minor in the overall effect.

I just knew alcohol was involved. Lovely woman.
