Yeah, yeah, but must weigh a bloody tonne!!
And would increase the camera shake something rotten.
It is heavy, especially as he has the 400D body (same as mine) but I can't wait to see his animal shots. I know he's got things I had no hope of getting.
Can I figure from this that a bunch of you are going to exchange photos? Good idea if everyone joins in.
One of the guys is putting together a DVD, complete with music and commentary apparently (not my kind of thing) which he will copy and send to everyone. I know he is using some of Glen's shots as well. I'm still working out what to do with mine. I'm emailing out the people shots to the relevant subjects and think I will use my travel blog as a portal with links to country albums on webshots, send everyone the links and offer to send them full files of any shots they would particularly like to have. At this stage all I've managed to do is number and title all 2,300 or so shots. Now to decide which to use and photoshop where necessary then get them on line. I'll let you know when they are up. My guess is it won't be till the Christmas break - we have a compulsory 2 week shut down (whether or not you have any leave left).
Tremendous feat just to have numbered and named them. Once I have my own computer back, I want to do something similar with my Italy 2006 and my France 2008. My aim is to have it finished BEFORE I jaunt OS in Spring 2010.We'll see ...
