Here is the companion photo to yesterday's shot. Again I had trouble deciding whether to use colour 0r b&w but decided that the colour of her shirt worked well. But I like the b&w as well.

These photos you are now taking are so so different for you. It is most exciting.
I agree that it would be a shame not to see the colour in this image: the shirt offsets the skin tone so well.
I agree on both counts; where's the fun in that?
There's not enough tonal range for my taste in B&W and the colour really works well.
What's with the focus though? Was it a matter of taking a little more time to let the camera do its thing?
As Julie said, it is exciting all round!
With the focus I think she was at a better distance for the camera and was also standing still whereas Alison was moving round a lot and turning her head to look at Davina.
