Ann 95/100 - Timmy

The South Pacific Marching Band had been waiting for an hour an a half and Timmy was obviously bored stiff. His mates thought my photographing him was hilarious. Tried to get a couple of the old blokes as well but they wouldn't be in it.

These are great, Ann. They capture a shy young man to a tee. I love the red of the jacket. Good choice ...

What is he ditting on there: a phone or a game? People of that generation are constantly switched on to something or other ...

Into the final week now ... come this stage all I wanted was the target to be reached and to get on with it ...

I am trying to work out a new direction for my portraiture ... not sure what I want to do just yet. Dont want to go back to posing for the camera type shots, though.

I have been asked at work to cover an event next Tuesday night. Bit nerve wracking, actually. Dont want to resort to flash but will take some to ensure that at least some come out as they are expected to. Will take my tripod with me too as I am assured that the lighting in McLaurin hall is bordering on the pathetic.

I'm sure you made this young lad's day! 95/100 - you are almost there. Has it been fun? Great photos, I've enjoyed your blog very much.

Have a lovely weekend!

Nancy

I was intending to take a rest after putting up the rest of the ANZAC Day ones (probably an additional week's worth) but this morning my neighbours youngest got married and I was out the front with the camera so I should have some out of that. I promised the musicians I'd put theirs up.

Nancy, its been great fun. From absolute terror at the beginning to enjoying it and wishing I knew how to do it properly - a real larning curve.
