Cara (001) - Rob

Look at me I started early!
I was so pleased that I got permission from Rob who is an artist-blacksmith that I really didn't think too much about what I was doing. Looking at the results (I haven't bothered to post them as they are so similar) I think I should have tried more angles, tighter framing and a quicker shutter speed. hmmm
He did a funny thing with his hammer - gave me a quick back massage! It was surprisingly good.

Wow! Imagine my delight when I saw this!! Wu-hoo ... way to go!!!

Excellent choice of subject: full of interest and character. A subject like this will rarely turn you down.

I don't have a problem with your framing on this shot. I think the context is just great. You might have wanted different angles and framing for your full range of shots. But as you know, there are no restrictions on how many or how few you post. You are really teaching yourself as you go along.

Can you go into Settings/Comments and right down the bottom add the email address that you want all the comments to go to, please. That way at least you get a ping when someone says anything about any post.

Welcome aboard!

Fantastic Cara! Great start, I'm looking forward to more!

Ann and Julie, sorry about the lack of commentary, I'm really struggling for internet time at the moment, will try better.

Currently in Alice Springs but don't expect any more access for at least a fortnight if we get to Adelaide. If we don't it could be longer!

Don't worry about the commentary. You just soak it all up and be with her indoors. I envy youse bigtime.

Congratulations and welcome! I didn't start thinking about angles and composition until at least number 10. I just panicked and clicked a couple of quick shots. If we had a conversation I was so nervous I forgot what they said. I still forget their names if I don't write it down straight away.
