You are just about convincing me, you know.

I have Friday off ... the temptation is growing!

The bottom one is quite dark. Still trying to work out portraits with this lens. Think I may have to start the 100 again but with this lens to work through it. Wait till you see the night shots - I think they'll convince you.

Are you not processing as part of your project Ann? The pics aren't so dark that you couldn't recover them fully, and you are convincing me to start playing more with the ISO button too!

No I'm not processing at the moment and, to our teacher's disgust, still shotting JPG. I want to see what the camera and lens/es are actually doing, especially the new 50mm F1.8. The idea for me is to be able to take a shot that doesn't need processing. Our teacher is, however fully in favour of processing. Obviously I will go back to processing but hopefully it will be minimal.

Oh, and as you'll see with some earlier shots, he got us to change our colour space to Adobe RGB which is absolutely hopeless for posting to the web, so some shots are dreadfully dull. I'm fairly sure I converted these back to sRGB.

I have updated one shot - the one of #49 Julian in Toowoomba for comparison.

I could do more processing on it to lighten it a bit more I think and maybe reduce the contrast, but I think you'll see the difference between the unprocessed camera JPEG, and the slightly processed RAW is quite clear.

Go for it! Note that while I was away, my old laptop doesn't quite have the brainpower to process RAW, so I took all shots in dual RAW/jpeg mode, and now I'm playing with the RAW shots for keepers.
