I had not met Ellie before last weekend: he is a friend of my daughter's from poker. He is gorgous: yet he bites his fingernails! Yes there is no connection, except I had always thought it to be the insecure amongst us that bit fingernails. How can anyone be as attractive and personable as this chap and still be insecure?
I have a lot to learn about blokes and not much time left to learn it!

Veeery nice. Attractive and personable has nothing to do with insecurity (says she who picks at her nails :) shame about the red eye in the background.
I don't think there's an absence of nuance among err... we older chaps.
But there again, there aren't too many nail biters either!
This is the sort of interesting thing that a portrait can reveal that probably my daughter does not even know. The nail-biting adds more to our knowledge of the subject and we can speculate to our hearts' content!
