Ann 75/100 - Jeff

Jeff couldn't understand why I would want to take his photo. He definitely had the most interesting face of the RFS boys. I like his face in colour but the orange cords in the background are annoying. Another one I need to have a go at when I download Elements.
Can't believe this is No. 75 - 3/4 through.

Unusually for me, I prefer the portrait in colour. He has a very strong face. I like this one: given that we have sunnies and we have baseball caps, I still think it tells us a lot about the bloke.

I would have liked to have seen others where he lets his guard down too.

... oops ... forgot ...

Tried the WEA logon last night but it keeps locking me out and not actually emailing me the password. Stupid system. I will phone enrol this morning. Shall let you know when the deed is done.

With PE you will find it a snap to get rid of something as simple as those orange lines. It is certainly best in colour.

I like this one in colour too. It's a strong shot.

PE will turn that orange green in no time and you'll have a beauty on your hands.

Still waiting for the manual to arrive (hopefully next week). I've been playing around but without instructions I don't really know what I'm doing.

Interesting but I still find it a dilemma. I don't really see the point. Photography is predominantly about taking a good photo. I have no problem with minor photoshopping but after that you are getting into computer manipulation and computer graphics, not photography. If you want a close up photo of leaves or grass - take a close up photo of leaves or grass.

Speaking of computer manipulation I was reading the Elements manual and I think I've found the solution to the tungsten/fluro lighting problem. There are photography filters (warming/cooling etc) in the set of filters. I vaguely remember these being somewhere on my camera's menu as well. Will have to look. They apprarently have the same effect as putting a warming or cooling filter on your camera lens.
