Ann 77/100 - The Busker

I really should stop trying to get the p&s to do things beyond its capability, but I keep thinking that this time it might work. I know it doesn't cope with movement. These didn't look too bad in the camera but most of them blurred. Tried fixing this one to get rid of the people but it looks like the scene cleaner needs photos with pretty much the exact same composition to do it. I was moving around so they are all from a slightly different angle. Realise now that I should have cropped this a bit but its not a good enough shot to waste the time on.

Didn't get his name, he was so engrossed in his music that I didn't want to interrupt.

I have photos of this chap, too - from down around the Quay. As I went around to the ballet last night there was a gorgeous young man playing flameno: playing flamenco very well, indeed.

Is scene cleaner one of the functions in PS?

You have given me an idea that I will follow some of the myriad of buskers throughout the city to get more musicians hands. I wonder ...

Glad you are back in the water: gets a bit boring in here by myself.

Scene cleaner is in PSE. You take 2or more photos the same, one with something in the background you don't want, the other/s with what you do want in that part of the background, but presumably not what you want overall. PSE will remove the offending bits and replace them with the same part of the other photo. Its quite amazing but the photos need to be in the same proportions/angle etc. I tried with this one and it removed the figures but distorted the overall shape of the photo.

I'm only sort of back. I have 3 and hope to get some on Anzac Day but it just depends on whom I see from day to day. There aren't that many intersting looking people around and there are things (like this) that the p&s just won't do, the subject has to be static, which is limiting.

Did you give any more thought to inviting the others to join in before we all finish?

This one nearly made it in my book Ann.

The smile and the movement are all you need to make it work. Almost....

I really really like them a little blurred like that.

Ann, I will chat with a couple over the email in just a minute and see what they reckon.
